Middle School 6-8

GRAVA Middle School is a tuition-free, fully online option for grades 6-8 from Grand Rapids Area Schools, powered by the Imagine Edgenuity learning platform. Your student learns from home with the structure, support, and connection of Grand Rapids Area Schools behind them.

What a typical day looks like: Students work through a full 6-8 course schedule at their own pace — generally about an hour per subject per day — supported by licensed teachers. Days are flexible but structured, with clear weekly pacing goals so students stay on track. Parents can check grades, attendance, and progress anytime in the Imagine Edgenuity Family Portal.

2. Meet with the GRAVA team to plan your student's course schedule.
3. Your student logs in and begins — enrollment is for the full school year.

Getting set up: Students may use their own device, or GRAVA will provide a district iPad to any student who needs one, backed by a robust technology support system to assist with any technology needs.
