Online — but never on your own.
The most common worry about online school is that a child will feel isolated. At GRAVA, your student stays part of Grand Rapids Area Schools — with real chances to connect, compete, and create alongside their peers.
Athletics. Students living within the Grand Rapids Area Schools boundary can participate in Grand Rapids and Bigfork athletics. Contact the [Grand Rapids / Bigfork High School Activities Office] to get started. Students in partner districts may participate in their home district's activities.
In-person electives — music & band. Families may elect in-person options such as music and band — a benefit you won't find with outside online providers.
Clubs & activities:
Cultural & community connections. GRAVA students have access to district programs, including the Anishinaabe Gikinoo'amaadiwin Ojibwe Education Program.
